EPB Quantum Network℠

Powered by Qubitekk

How It Works

We’ve designed EPB Quantum Network to be easy to access, no matter what kind of product deployment, demonstration, or validation you’re working on.

First, you’ll work with an EPB Quantum Network Business Development Account Manager to understand your needs and identify a package that will work best for you.

Users who meet the following criteria are likely to have the best experience with EPB Quantum Network, and we’ll discuss these topics with you prior to selecting a package or signing a contract:

  • Organizations with technologies that are compatible with photonic qubits or those that aim to solve transduction challenges
  • Organizations with primary ownership based in the U.S. or in a country that is in good standing with the U.S. Department of Commerce
  • Organizations with access to technical resources such as optical engineers, quantum physicists and/or computer scientists

Once you’ve selected a package, your Business Development Account Manager will walk you through the package details, including features, costs, user and service level agreements before all authorized parties sign the agreed-upon contract.

Workspace Options

Three different options are available for physically connecting to EPB Quantum Network powered by Qubitekk.

  1. Private Short-Term Quantum Node at EPB Quantum Network Headquarters
EPB offers secure, private workspaces equipped with what you’d expect in a modern office environment and are available for rent on a temporary basis for EPB Quantum Network subscribers.
  2. Dedicated Long-Term Quantum Node in Pre-Wired Space
Select office spaces in close proximity to EPB Quantum Network Headquarters have been pre-wired with fiber optics and are available for a longer-term lease.
  3. Other Dedicated Long-Term Quantum Node Space
If you want to source your own space, we will work with you to make sure it is within an acceptable distance (within 5 km of an established Quantum Data Center) and provide a cost estimate and proposed timeline for outfitting the space with appropriate fiber optic connectivity and equipment for accessing EPB Quantum Network powered by Qubitekk.

To protect everyone’s work, we require a state or federal-issued photo ID for everyone who will have access to the network and/or physical space at EPB Quantum Network Headquarters.

Before you get started using EPB Quantum Network powered by Qubitekk, we’ll conduct a full onboarding session for each of your team members who will be accessing the network. Onboarding includes:

  • Providing an overview of amenities in the physical space you’ll be using
  • Printing physical space access badges for each of your authorized team members
  • Demonstrating how to use the network configuration software
  • Demonstrating how to connect your equipment to the Quantum Network Interface Console (QNIC)
  • Accessing your preferred repository for time tagging or other reporting data
  • Introducing you to your technical team and providing contact information for troubleshooting or questions
  • Reviewing acceptable use policies for both the physical space and EPB Quantum Network

Your Business Development Account Manager will provide you with credentials for signing on to the network configuration software for scheduling your time on the network.

EPB Quantum Network is available for scheduling from 6AM to 12 AM Monday-Sunday.
